In the hush of the Namibian desert after rain, millions of pink and white lilies rise from the dust and answer the sun with fire

Prompt

In Namibia’s hush, where the desert drinks rain, millions of lilies rise from the dust. Pink and white, they drink the last light, their faces turned to the sky they once knew only as a star. For five brief days they bloom, a quiet riot against the dry. And when the sun finally touches them, they answer with fire.
