Xiaomi has released the agentic model MiMo-V2.6-Distill-Qwen-9B

Xiaomi has introduced a new specialized model, MiMo-V2.6-Distill-Qwen-9B. It is an agentic neural network built on the Qwen3.5-9B architecture and distilled to optimize it for complex software tasks.

The model demonstrates high efficiency in coding and debugging tasks. According to test results, it achieves 61.1% on the SWE Verified benchmark and 44.6% on SWE Pro. These figures confirm the system's ability to handle real-world software development cases.

The release is aimed at developers who need compact yet powerful tools for coding automation. With 9 billion parameters, the model can be deployed locally, simplifying integration into workflows without the need for constant calls to cloud APIs.
