Deepgram has acquired Daily, the creator of Pipecat

Deepgram has announced the acquisition of the startup Daily, known as the developer of the Pipecat framework. The deal is aimed at strengthening the company's position in the field of AI-powered voice infrastructure.

As part of the integration, the buyer's leadership has officially confirmed plans to keep Pipecat open source. The tool will continue to evolve under its existing distribution model for the developer community.
