Postman accused of automatically installing AI plugins

Postman users have encountered the forced and hidden installation of artificial intelligence in the popular API development application. According to discussions on specialized platforms, the desktop client began automatically activating AI extensions without the explicit consent of developers.
The issue caught the community's attention after it was revealed that the new modules were attempting to transmit sensitive data and working request collections to external servers by default. Hundreds of complaints from engineers and companies concerned about potential leaks of private corporate information have been recorded in the project's technical support repository.
Such a policy of imposing automation features puts the security of sensitive endpoints and authorization tokens stored in the workspace at risk. Developers are demanding that the company add a global toggle to completely disable any telemetry and AI components in the application.
