Google has launched the Connected Apps Platform to integrate services with Gemini

Google has introduced the Connected Apps Platform, which allows third-party services to connect to search and the Gemini ecosystem. The announcement took place on October 28, 2026, and opens up new possibilities for user interaction with external applications via text queries.

The new tool creates a unified infrastructure for integrating third-party software with the corporation's proprietary AI products. Thanks to this, website owners and developers will be able to manage platform functionality directly through the assistant's interface, bypassing standard control panels and manual editing.

This approach changes the way users work with website builders and digital services, allowing AI agents to perform authorized operations based on simple text commands. The platform makes content and settings management more automated by directly connecting external applications to the company's base models.
