Developers introduced the voice assistant JARVIS

Developers presented JARVIS — a real-time voice control system built on the Gemini Live API. The project is focused on creating an autonomous assistant with support for visual lip synchronization and a built-in system for managing hardware resources.
The functionality of JARVIS includes a long-term memory module that allows saving the context of user interaction with the system. The tool provides work without the need for paid subscriptions, using the computational power of the Google Gemini API to process requests.
The system supports lip-sync, which allows visualizing the assistant's speech in real-time. The architecture of the solution includes integration with system commands, which gives the ability to manage operating system parameters through voice instructions. The entire source code of the project is published in open access on the GitHub platform.
The development is aimed at creating an alternative to proprietary voice assistants with deep integration into the user's local environment. The use of the Gemini Live API provides low response latency, which is critical for real-time operation.
