The company OpenAI has opened access to the outbound SIP calling feature for all registered organizations. This innovation allows for the integration of third-party communication providers, such as Twilio, using a SIP trunk.

The tool is designed for real-time phone call routing based on GPT-Live models. To protect transmitted data and ensure connection security, the system uses TLS and SRTP cryptographic protocols.

The new feature enables companies to automate voice communications and connect AI voice agents to existing corporate phone networks without the need for complex workarounds.
