Anthropic has unified Claude interfaces for working with documents

Company Anthropic announced the integration of Cowork functionality directly into the main interface of Claude chat. Now users can work with documents and presentations in a single workspace without switching between tabs.

The update adds support for Docs and Slides formats right in the dialogue window. The system allows editing files, making changes and viewing changes in real-time, using LLM capabilities to automate routine content formatting tasks.

The new functionality will be available to users of paid subscriptions Pro and Max within the next few weeks. The integration is aimed at accelerating workflows related to the creation of corporate documentation and visual materials.

Previously, Cowork features existed as a separate tool for collaboration, but now they are fully absorbed into the main interface of Claude. This change simplifies interaction with AI when preparing complex reports and presentations, combining text generation and layout in one window.
