Developers released the desktop application Chat On Steroids

Developers introduced Chat On Steroids — a desktop application with open source code that expands the capabilities of interacting with ChatGPT. The project gained 2.9 thousand stars on GitHub in the first 615 hours after publication.
The tool allows locally connecting files to the chat interface, giving the model the ability to analyze documents directly on the user's device. In addition to working with data, the application supports running automated tests and managing local workflows (workers) to perform specific tasks.
The software is distributed under the MIT license, which allows it to be used for a wide range of tasks without restrictions. The application is fully cross-platform and supports operation in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
The solution is aimed at users who require integration of AI models into the local development environment without the need to upload data to cloud servers. The application's architecture allows automating routine operations, such as code verification or processing local data sets, through a familiar chatbot interface.
