Developers introduced the jevmeter tool to evaluate speech credibility

Developers have released jevmeter — a tool for automated video content analysis that evaluates the credibility of speakers' statements in real-time. The program uses the Jev algorithm to analyze speech and assign it a quantitative rating.

The tool includes pre-set profiles for various formats: debates, financial reports (earnings calls), podcasts, and pitches. Users can choose a suitable preset depending on the specifics of the audio track, which allows adapting the evaluation criteria to the specific context of the performance.

In addition to text evaluation, jevmeter automatically generates 16:9 highlight videos, cutting out the most significant or controversial fragments from the original material. This accelerates the processing of long recordings and allows quickly highlighting key moments for subsequent viewing.

The project is focused on automating fact-checking and monitoring media activity. The use of specialized profiles reduces the number of false positives when analyzing specific vocabulary characteristic of corporate or political discussions.
