Cloudflare has launched the Quick Tunnels service for instant access to local servers

September 18, 2026

Company Cloudflare introduced the Quick Tunnels tool, which allows instant access to local web servers from the internet. The solution is aimed at developers who need to quickly demonstrate a project or test webhooks without setting up complex network configurations.

To work with the service, it is enough to execute one command in the command-line interface (CLI). The system automatically generates a public URL in the trycloudflare.com domain, which redirects traffic directly to the user's local port. Using the tool does not require account registration, DNS setup, or changing firewall rules.

The tool provides a secure connection, eliminating the need to open ports on the router or use third-party VPN solutions. All traffic passes through Cloudflare's global network, ensuring protection against DDoS attacks and data encryption via the TLS protocol. The service is completely free and does not impose any restrictions on the number of tunnels created.

Quick Tunnels simplifies the development process, allowing testing of local applications in real network conditions. This solution eliminates routine operations for setting up proxying and allows focusing on code debugging, providing instant access to the local environment for external services or colleagues.
