Developers have introduced a trading bot for Polymarket
Developers have published polymarket-multistrategy-trading-bot — an open-source tool designed to automate operations on the Polymarket prediction platform. The software is written in Python and provides users with a set of ready-made algorithms for asset management.
The bot's functionality includes support for four main trading strategies: market making, momentum following, mean reversion, and arbitrage operations. The system is equipped with built-in risk control modules that allow limiting potential losses when executing trades in automatic mode.
To ensure safe testing of algorithms, the project implements a paper trading mode by default. This allows users to test the effectiveness of chosen strategies on historical data or in real-time without using real capital. The project code is freely distributed, which gives the opportunity to modify the decision-making logic under specific market conditions.
The tool is aimed at users engaged in algorithmic trading on decentralized prediction markets. The presence of ready-made strategy templates reduces the time spent on developing their own infrastructure for interacting with the Polymarket API. The project is available for deployment on local machines or cloud servers with a Python interpreter installed.
