The developer created a 93-second cartoon using Claude Opus

The developer presented the project Claude-vs-Codex, which is a 93-second animated video fully generated by a neural network with one prompt. The entire visual component and character interaction logic are implemented through 15,000 lines of code in the Python language.
To create the video, no third-party software for editing or graphic editors was used. The entire generation process took 5 hours, during which the Claude Opus model itself built scenes of duels and dialogues between the characters Clawd and Codex. The project code is available in an open repository for analyzing the generation structure.
The technical implementation relies on the automatic generation of graphical primitives and animation sequences through Python scripts. Using the model in "one prompt" mode allowed preserving the integrity of the narrative without the need for manual correction of intermediate frames or software stitching of the video stream.
This experiment demonstrates the capabilities of modern LLM in writing voluminous program modules for generating media content. The project shows that with the correct task setting, the model is capable of managing complex graphics libraries to create full-fledged animated works without human involvement in the rendering process.
