Google has expanded the capabilities of the AI agent CC for family groups

Company Google has updated its AI agent CC, adding support for sharing with groups of up to six people. Now the service is focused on automating household tasks, including scheduling, distributing household chores and managing logistics.
The updated functionality allows the agent to coordinate shared calendars, make meal plans and process filling out various forms. The system automatically synchronizes data between group members, ensuring the relevance of information for each family member in real time.
Developers have implemented a granular permission management system, which allows users to customize access levels to personal data. This ensures confidentiality within the group, limiting the visibility of certain tasks or documents for individual participants depending on the established privacy settings.
Integration into the Google ecosystem allows the agent to interact with the company's existing services for automatic data collection from email or notes. The tool is available to users through the Google Labs interface, where new features are tested before their widespread implementation.
This update moves CC from the category of personal assistants to the category of tools for collective household management. The use of AI to synchronize family processes allows reducing the time spent on routine planning and minimizing errors when distributing tasks among family members.
